Simon Gichuki, CEO of Records and Information Management E.A Limited, Resigns After Eight Years of Service

[Nairobi, Kenya, 21st Feb 2023] – Records and Information Management E.A. Limited (RIMEA) announces that Simon Gichuki has resigned as CEO effective 31st May 2023. Mr. Gichuki has been with the company since its inception in 2013, leading the company to become a leader in the records and information management industry in East Africa.

Under Mr. Gichuki’s leadership, RIMEA has experienced significant growth and has received numerous awards and recognition for its outstanding services. During his tenure, he oversaw the company’s expansion, investment in state-of-the-art technology, and the development of new products and services.

“I have been incredibly fortunate to serve as the CEO of RIMEA since its inception in 2013,” said Mr. Gichuki. “It’s been a blessing and the ride of my life. I am proud of what we have accomplished as a team, and I am grateful for the support of our clients, partners, and employees.”

Mr. Gichuki will be on sabbatical leave over the next three months, during which he will oversee the transition to a new CEO and ensure a smooth handover. He remains optimistic that the incoming CEO will deliver the next frontier for the company.
